School Starts August 11
School will start at 8:30am on August 11th. Remember pick up is 2:15pm. When you arrive earlier, it is disruptive to learning. We are looking forward to the 2025-2026 school year.
Just some “housekeeping” information
1. If you are tardy, you will need to come in with your child and sign them in.
2. If you pick up early, you will need to come in and sign your child out.
3. Strong perfumes and colognes may bother some people, please make sure your child has a subtle smelling one.
4. If your child does not attend assembly when they are here, it will be an automatic detention.
5. No personal laptops or devices this year will be allowed in the classroom.
6. No secular bands or artist may be worn at school even on Fridays. This includes sweatshirts that promote the band or artist
7. Cell phones are to be turned in each morning. If a student is caught with a cell phone it will be an automatic detention.
Beginning of Year School Paperwork
It’s that time of the year, when we update our student files. You were given a packet at open house with that information and if not we will give it to you on Monday. Please return by August 15, 2025.
All kindergarten and 7th graders will be audited for immunizations and health exams by the state of Florida. Please make sure that Ms. Cindy receives these documents by August 15th.
Friday Fast Food
We are still working on who and what will be offered on Fridays. We are considering Domino’s or Papa John’s instead of Little Caesars. Chick Fil A went up in prices, but when looking at other places, they are high as well. We will have a decision by Tuesday and will send home the papers.
Also, we will be taking orders on Thursdays now. If your child is absent on Thursday, call it in to Ms. Rebekah please.
Open House was a Success!
We had 26 families attend Open House on Friday. It was fun to meet new students and to see how tall some of the older ones have gotten. Thank you for coming out.
