PE, Pizza, and Jesus

Today was a fun day. We have PE and pizza, two combinations that always add up to fun. In addition to that, we hid mini Jesus figures throughout the building for the students to find. Three classes found the 30 hidden in their classroom. The classrooms came up short of the 30. We then hid more after lunch and had fun finding and gathering them up. If we counted correctly there are 28 missing in the school building. It will be fun to look for them over the next month.

Reminder that school dismisses at 2:15pm.

School lets out at 2:15pm. If you need to pick your child up early, you must come inside to sign them out.

Concrete Being Poured Soon

The work has started for the pouring cement in various locations on the property. The shell road (or roundabout ) will be temporarily closed when the trucks get here to pour. Be prepared to exit through the day care onto Fruitville Rd. As you exit that way, remember parents are dropping or picking up their children from day care. Drive slowly.

Progress Reports are coming home today.

Progress reports are here. Kindergarten reports will go out on Monday. Please if you have any questions, contact your child’s teacher and they will be happy to speak with you. We do offer study hall during the after school program. For $15 a day, your child can have an extended time to work. You can pick your child up at 4:15 if this is something you are interested in.

October is a busy month

Agape has a busy October to look forward to. We have two field trips going out. We have opera singers coming to school. We have a school wide fundraiser. The first quarter ends and on the 13th we have a day off. Picture day is on the 20th. Very busy time for us. Check dates to remember to see the specific dates of each.

Lunch Time and Cell Phones

Just a friendly reminder to pack a fork or spoon if your child needs a utensil for what is packed. Thank you.
Many students are handing in their cell phones on a regular basis. 😃 We are happy that they are obeying the rules.

Picture Day, October 20th

Ms. Monica will be here on October 20th to take pictures of the students. We will also take a school picture of all of us.
